A proposal to divide California into six states has received enough signatures to make the November 2016 ballot. Here’s how.

What seems like a move towards representation fairness for republicans is really just a ploy to trim the fat and make the proposed Silicon Valley the richest state in the union. Currently California is one of the richest states in the country but also has one of, if not the highest, debts. If this change went through, the proposed Central California would become the poorest state with Jefferson and North California not be far behind.
One of the greatest things about The Golden State, to me, is our diversity and segregating us isn’t the answer for our poorly run government. We need to support third parties and elect representatives who reflect our values and stances on issues that matter to us.
